Pastor Barry Fields was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, where his heart for people and passion for the Kingdom of God were deeply rooted. He is a devoted husband of 16 years and a proud father of four children. In 2009, Pastor Fields answered the call to ministry, stepping into the pulpit with a burden to preach the Gospel and serve God’s people with excellence, humility, and love.

In 2016, Pastor Fields became the Pastor of World Evangelism Center (WEC), a newly launched church plant in the heart of Indianapolis. Though not the founding pastor, he was instrumental in helping build the ministry from the ground up. Under his leadership, WEC experienced dynamic growth, with hundreds baptized and equipped through discipleship, leadership development, and a culture of revival.

In 2022, Pastor Fields was elected Senior Pastor of Bethesda Temple Apostolic Church, where he now leads a vibrant and multi-generational congregation. That same year, he oversaw the successful merger of WEC and Bethesda Temple, uniting two powerful ministries to advance one mission: to reach the lost, equip believers, and ignite a lasting move of God in Indianapolis and beyond.

In June 2025, Pastor Fields, alongside a dedicated team from Bethesda’s main campus, launched a daughter work—The House of Mercy—on the southeast side of Indianapolis. Since its launch, the ministry has witnessed 17 baptisms and 6 individuals filled with the Holy Ghost—evidence of the life-changing power of God's presence still at work today.

Pastor Fields’ passion for souls extends beyond the local church. He has also preached internationally, including a powerful crusade in the Dominican Republic, where many experienced healing, salvation, and the outpouring of the Holy Ghost.

Known not only as a passionate preacher and revivalist, but as a man of integrity, compassion, and vision, Pastor Barry Fields continues to lead with faith, fire, and a deep commitment to the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
